Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer 3 to support the agency’s mission by ensuring highway construction projects are designed and constructed in compliance with standard specifications, contract specifications and contract plans. The work of this position improves the safety, reliability, and resiliency of the State’s transportation system. As a Transportation Engineer 3 in the Olympic Region (OR) Traffic Office, the incumbent is placed in the position to lead and supervise a traffic operations team overseeing the Motorist Information Signing program, Field Assessment, Special Events and Traffic Data Collection and Studies.
