Job Opportunity: Traffic Safety Systems Operator in Spokane, WA!

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking to fill a Traffic Safety Systems Operator 3 (TSSO3) In-Training position in the Traffic Management Center (TMC) in Spokane to dispatch service calls to field crews. This position will monitor and operate the region's intelligent transportation systems and devices such as roadside cameras, variable message signs (VMS), and highway advisory radios. Traffic and incident information collected is then passed on to motorists, response agencies, and the media. By keeping travelers informed, the Spokane Regional TMC increases the efficiency and safety of the Region’s state highways, interstate roadways, and county/city streets.
