Job Opportunity: Survey Engineer (In-Training) in Vancouver, WA!

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has an exciting opportunity in our Vancouver office for a Survey Engineer (Transportation Engineer 2). This position will perform land surveying work supporting design and construction transportation projects under the supervision of the Survey Team Leader. This position also assists with remote sensing and LiDAR scanning. The surveyor in this position will ensure survey data is collected in the field and processed in the office and electronic data is prepared and projects staked in the field prior to construction. The role of the Survey Crew Lead includes leadership of technical support staff by directing and training staff and other duties necessary to ensure that WSDOT projects are supported by survey functions according to established standards and procedures, on time, and on budget.
