Job Title: Software Engineer III

Location: Louisville, Colorado

Duration of Contract: 12 plus months (close to 18 months)

Convertible at the end of contract (yes or no): Potentially

Mandatory Skills :

• Multiple years of experience writing and executing test scripts in Python.
• 3+ years, the more the better
• Python skillset 8/10
• Embedded software test experience (writing test cases, test scripts, test procedures, utilizing test automation tools, interfacing with a Spacecraft/Aircraft simulator, executing tests, and analyzing results - all with an embedded software unit-under-test running on a real-time operating system)
• 3+ years, the more the better
• Ability to work onsite in our test laboratory (Louisville, CO) as necessary
• Local person preferred in order to interface with the hardware/software in the lab as required
• Performance metrics or how you will evaluate contractors performance:
• Based on how they perform the above & also the leveraged against the best performer details below.
• Differences in best vs. avg. performers now in this role:
• Best performers are able to do the following without any oversight: understand test cases, quickly produce high quality python test scripts based on the given test case, and quickly analyze results and bugs for root-cause. Best performers are also able to guide and mentor others on python test script techniques and best practices, implementing novel test methods, interfacing with test automation, and communicating needs across a broad group of stakeholders.
• Average performers may need small oversight in test case definition/understanding upfront or minimal python technique assistance
