Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Project Engineer to provide leadership, management, and engineering oversight to a field office responsible for the delivery of design and construction projects. Leading and managing a field office of approximately 25-30 engineers and technicians, the Project Engineer ensures that the best technical standards and cost-effective designs are incorporated into construction contracts and that construction contracts are administered to the expected quality, safety, and stewardship standards. This position provides staff a balanced workplace, which promotes training and development for professional growth and upward mobility, employee safety, workforce diversity, and pride in ownership.
