Washington State Department of Transportation’s (WSDOT) Technology Services Division (TSD) is currently seeking a skilled professional to serve a senior-level IT Project Manager – Senior/Specialist in the discipline of IT Project Management. Reporting to the Enterprise Technology Project Management Office (ETPMO) Manager, this position will provide IT Project Management leadership in IT project management methodology and practices related to requirements gathering, analysis, application design, database design, application development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and upgrades of applications in an iterative and interactive style of development. In this role, you will ?provide Maintenance and ?Operations support and lead future development enhancement projects for the WSDOT Virtual Coordination Center (VCC) program which is managed by the WSDOT Transportation Operations Division. The VCC is a cloud based virtual platform that gathers data from regional partners and shares this data to partner agencies through a common dashboard. The VCC is managed, maintained, and developed by WSDOT and used by external users to collaborate on the management of major traffic impacts. ?Additionally, this position may serve as the IT lead in the development and execution of Requests For Information (RFIs) followed by Request for Proposals (RFPs) for the VCC project in collaboration with WSDOT’s Administrative Contracts Office. This is the agency’s senior-level project management position responsible for setting standards and best practices surrounding project management, and to ensure compliance with Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and Office of Financial Management (OFM) policies.
