Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer 3 to support the department’s goals of sustaining credibility by maintaining and reporting accurate information in the Capital Program Management System (CPMS) about project milestones, accomplishments, and changes. This is accomplished by learning from successes, helping with challenges that affect project control and delivery of the region’s construction program, and exchanging up to date project information to promote accountability and better manage change. This position reports to the Project Delivery and Reporting Supervisor. The Transportation Engineer 3 is the reporting and analyst lead and is critical to WSDOT’s long-term success by ensuring that project budgets and schedules are analyzed in accordance with policy.
