Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking an organized and motivated Procurement and Supply Specialist 2 in Union Gap, WA. This position assists the Sign Shop Manager by coordinating purchasing of supplies, monitoring inventory levels, and analyzing and interpreting complex purchasing data contained in manuals and reports. This position is responsible and accountable for supply management functions, storage, issue of materials, collection of Work-in-Progress data, managing surplus, handling aluminum sign blanks, vinyl sheeting, and other inventory items for sign fabrication. This position will perform fiscal activities in a variety of work areas such as recordkeeping, payroll, maintenance of fiscal records and ensuring the accuracy of reports. This position is dedicated to performing this challenge, as well as integrating the WSDOT Strategic Plan Goal Areas of Inclusion, Practical Solutions and Workforce Development.
