Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has an exciting opportunity for an enterprising transportation planner who has strong analytical and communication skills and a passion for multimodal transportation solutions. As the Senior Transportation Planner (TPS5) in Wenatchee, WA, you will lead or contribute to completing deliverables listed for region planning as detailed in the State Planning and Research Program (SPR); and provide consulting expertise by coaching and guiding colleagues while also having responsibility for producing deliverables that link planning, scoping, and design. The incumbent will implement innovative planning techniques, lead multidisciplinary teams, and represent WSDOT externally. As a member of agency-wide policy groups, the position will also contribute to statewide policy and process development to advance new ideas, update WSDOT guidance documents and provide technical information to executives.
