Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer 2 to support the agency’s mission by ensuring highway construction projects are designed and built-in compliance with standard specifications, contract specifications and contract plans. The work of this position improves the safety, quality, and capacity of the State’s transportation system. As a Transportation Engineer 2 in the Project Engineer Office (PEO), the incumbent is placed in the position as a designer, inspector or administrative position of highway construction projects.
