Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking multiple Transportation Engineer 2/Design Construction Engineers in the Port Angeles Project Engineer Office (PEO). The position supports WSDOT’s mission by ensuring highway construction projects are designed and built in compliance with standard specifications, contract specifications and contract plans. The work of this position improves the safety, quality, and capacity of the State’s transportation system. As a Transportation Engineer 2, the incumbent is placed in the position as a designer and inspector of highway construction projects.
