Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking several experienced engineering professionals with exceptional leadership, organizational skills, and knowledge of the design-build process to fill vacancies located in Aberdeen, Tacoma, Tumwater, and other locations in Olympic Region as they become available. In these roles, you will assist in leading a staff of engineers responsible for the Region’s Highway Construction Program. The Design Build Site Managers assist in leading and managing an engineering field office of approximately 26 engineers and technicians responsible for the delivery of assigned design and construction projects, which requires close coordination and cooperation with region staff and support groups, HQ, and project stakeholders to accomplish organizational goals and expectations. In addition to project oversight, this position will provide staff a balanced workplace, promoting training and development for professional growth and upward mobility, employee safety, workforce diversity, and pride in ownership.
