Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced transportation planner who has strong analytical and communication skills and a passion for multimodal transportation solutions. As the Multimodal Development Manager, will support WSDOT’s mission by working collaboratively on regional planning, reviewing local plans, and project delivery efforts. In this role, you will lead and supervise staff in various projects and corridor studies, regional planning efforts, coordination with regional planning organizations, local jurisdictions, and agencies, and maintaining good working relationships with internal and external customers. To thrive in this role, the successful individual will need to have exceptional communication skills and a keen interest in community engagement and facilitating successful project outcomes.
