Job Opportunity: Leasing Specialist - Property Acquisition Specialist 3 in Wenatchee, WA!

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking to fill a Leasing Specialist 3 (PAS3) in our North Central Region. This position is responsible for the region’s list of non-compliant leases. With approval from the Property Management Supervisor, the position incumbent will create and implement a plan to review each of the lease files and either update the leases that are out of compliance, or if the region deems the leased premises are surplus, begin the disposal process. These tasks will involve working with region staff in multiple disciplines, HQ Real Estate Services (HQ RES), the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). This position is required to understand the laws related to leasing and disposal as well as federal regulations and must be able to provide details to others within RES. This position will also participate in activities related to inventory, file management, reporting lease update progress, and correspondence.
