Job Opportunity: Laboratory Technician & Core Driller

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is eager to hire an experienced technician to serve as Lab Technician/Core Driller to join our Materials Laboratory in South Seattle. The primary undertaking of this position will be to perform various materials tests. The successful candidate appointed into this position will have an enthusiasm for working hands on in collecting materials samples on job sites as well as testing such samples in a laboratory environment. As the Lab Technician/Core Driller, the appointee will serve as a key team member on our construct ion projects as they will be testing the integrity of construction materials as well as providing other support functions.
