Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Highway Maintenance Worker 3 to work as a member of the Olympic Region (OR) Regionwide crew and be responsible for leading entry and journey level Highway Maintenance Workers while operating a wide variety of equipment, tools and regularly performing skilled maintenance tasks throughout WSDOT roadways. As a lead, this position primarily manages the daily operations to include the striping of the state highway system. This position may occasionally aid other Regionwide crews in maintaining signs, Raised Pavement Markers (RPM), work zone traffic control, guardrail repair, and thermal plastics, as well as assist with roadside activities and clean up from storm events.
