Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking to fill an experienced Highway Maintenance Worker 4 position located in Ritzville, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with maintenance activity planning, budget, and schedule for twelve permanent staff members, and the assigned rest areas. The individual in this role will also perform various maintenance duties to include snow and ice operations, operating hand/power tools, brush and tree removal, pothole repair, guardrail repair, inventory control, orders, and audits. This position is essential to the ongoing development and implementation of maintenance activities and procedures within Eastern Region’s (ER) Area 3. Our top candidate will have exceptional communication skills with the ability to work inside and outside the workgroup.
