Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Highway Maintenance Worker 3 (HMW3) Nights to work as a member of the regional maintenance organization. Operating a wide variety of highway equipment and tools, this position is responsible for leading entry and journey-level Highway Maintenance Workers while regularly performing skilled maintenance tasks throughout WSDOT roadways. The maintenance and repair of highways and highway structures is critical to ensure the safe and efficient movement of people and commerce. This position may occasionally supervise a crew in the absence of a Highway Maintenance Supervisor. The HMW3 leads by example and ensures their work units operate efficiently, effectively, and safely; as well as work to foster an inclusive and healthy work environment that challenges all staff to be respectful and professional.
