Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking to fill a Highway Maintenance Worker 2 in Union Gap, WA. This journey-level position is part of the Tri-Region Raised/Recessed Pavement Marking Crew. Performing skilled inspections, maintenance, and repairs of WSDOT Eastern Washington Raised Recessed Pavement Markers (RRPMs). This position performs a variety of skilled maintenance tasks and operates various highway equipment and tools, including the South-Central Region button truck, grinder, and traffic control vehicles, to ensure the safe and efficient movement of people and commerce. During the winter months, this position performs snow and ice removal operations at a local maintenance area, or the region complex.?
