Job Opportunity: Fiscal Analyst 3 in Olympia, WA!

Washington State Department of Transportation’s (WSDOT) Tribal and Regional Integrated Planning (TRIP) Office is seeking a Fiscal Analyst 3 to be the subject matter expert for the department’s fiduciary responsibilities related to the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and Regional Transportation Planning Organization (RTPO) programs. In this position you will develop expertise in various federal state and department rules and policies related to transportation planning functions, eligible expenses, and authorization in conformance with existing and changing federal, state and agency principles, laws, rules, and regulations. You will perform financial review and analysis of accounting and fiscal data in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and assist in the development of agreements with MPO and RTPO partners.
