The Washington State Department of Transportation’s (WSDOT) Accounting and Financial Services Division is currently seeking a Fiscal Analyst 1 to perform entry-level financial duties by ensuring that payments to vendors are completed in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), state and federal regulations, and WSDOT guidelines and best practices. Among the varied range of responsibilities held within this role, the Fiscal Analyst 1 will review and approve payment vouchers and purchase card transactions, monitor outstanding invoices, facilitate belated claims, and advise, assist, and provide information to internal customers on compliance, agency/state policies and procedures while providing exceptional level customer service to both internal and external customers.
