Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Mechanic 3 to perform skilled work in a variety of trades, to include mechanical, electrical, and building retrofits and repairs in regionwide buildings. This position is responsible for working independently throughout the Olympic Region (OR) sites and buildings, supporting the Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) programs of the facilities section, as well as supporting construction activities within the region. This position also provides support to the Region’s Facility Planner on specific projects and long-range planning. The Facilities Maintenance Mechanic 3 indirectly supports the mission of WSDOT by ensuring the safe, ongoing operation of OR buildings and building systems.
