Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Transportation Equipment Fund (TEF) organization is currently seeking an Equipment Technician 3 in Vancouver, WA. The primary function of this position is to perform all aspects of Preventative Maintenance (PM) and repair duties on all inventoried equipment within the Southwest Region’s area of responsibility. This includes performing journey-level inspection, troubleshoot, diagnoses, service, and making major and minor mechanical repairs on all types of equipment used in highway maintenance. Southwest region’s TEF provides well maintained vehicles and equipment to customers who in turn may accomplish their services to the public in a safe, efficient, timely, and cost-effective manner.
