Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking an Equipment Superintendent to serve as a member of the Olympic Region (OR) Maintenance and Operations Management team. The Equipment Superintendent is accountable for the overall maintenance, procurement, equipment availability, wireless communications and operating cost for Olympic Region and assigned Headquarters (HQ) automotive and equipment fleet (TEF). This includes managing the life expectancy and cost of replacement of equipment, controlling the growth in the size of the fleet, equipment availability, and managing advances in vehicle technology to provide the best possible service to the customers served. WSDOT does not move unless the equipment it owns moves, making this position vital to every program activity, employee, and citizen in the Region.
