Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a senior level transportation planning specialist to fill the?Megaprograms Environmental/Biology Supervisor vacancy located in Seattle, WA.?In this role you will direct, oversee, and ensure consistency and compliance with environmental laws, regulations, agreements, WSDOT policies and procedures and resolve policy and procedure issues related to ESA and MBTA consultations, fish passage, natural resources habitat assessment and mitigation, water quality, and environmental permitting. As the Megaprograms Environmental/Biology Supervisor, you will provide senior level environmental oversight for all programs and projects?within the WSDOT Megaprograms Division, which includes the multi-billion-dollar Alaskan Way Viaduct Replacement Program (AWV), SR 520 Bridge Replacement Program (SR 520), I-405 Corridor Program, and SR 509 and SR 167 Gateway Programs.?Our successful candidate will independently make daily tactical and strategic decisions necessary to ensure all project actions conducted by the WSDOT Megaprograms Division are consistent and compliant with WSDOT policies and procedures related to ESA and MBTA consultations, fish passage, natural resources habitat assessment and mitigation, water quality, and environmental permitting.?
