Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who is passionate about the environment to join the Southwest Region Environmental Services team. WSDOT is seeking to fill an Environmental Documentation and Permit Coordinator position in Vancouver, WA. The Environmental Documentation and Permit Coordinator will directly support the transportation needs of Washington State and be a part of the exciting work WSDOT is doing to meet environmental stewardship goals. The successful candidate in this role will serve as an environmental representative for projects to support scoping, design, construction, and post-construction efforts to meet the environmental documentation and permitting requirements of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA), Clean Water Act, and other local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Our top candidate must have advanced collaboration and communication skills as this position communicates with many project partners including Tribal Governments; Federal, State, and Local Agencies and Project Engineering Design and Construction Offices. This position is critical in fostering a respectful and healthy work environment with focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
