Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking an experienced Transportation Engineer 4 to serve as a Design Trainer for the HQ Design Office. This is a great opportunity to be a key member of a high preforming team in developing the department’s workforce. In this role you will, develop and deliver professional design training to provide staff with the tools they need to successfully deliver projects. The Design Trainer also provides subject matter expertise on design project development including policy, guidance, and procedures. The successful candidate will be expected to quickly adapt to changing needs, this includes the ability to deliver training in-person, virtually, in written or recorded formats.
