Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer 2 to work as the Design Build Support Engineer. This position supports WSDOT’s mission by ensuring highway construction projects are designed and built in compliance with standard specifications, contract specifications and contract plans. The work of this position improves the safety, quality, and capacity of the State’s transportation system. As a Transportation Engineer 2 in the Olympic Region Traffic Office, the incumbent is placed in a team to review signing, illumination, work zone traffic control, traffic signals, channelization, and intelligent transportation systems for design build projects.?
