Job Opportunity: Complete Streets Transportation Engineer in Spokane, WA!

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently looking for enthusiastic individual who has a passion for creative solutions, innovation, and can provide success in collaborative efforts to fill the Complete Streets Transportation Engineer position located in Spokane, WA. This position supports WSDOT’s mission by managing the scope, schedule, and budget of the design/construction of highway projects, and by supervising engineering and technical employees in the delivery of these projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on Complete Streets projects as the team supervisor/lead for the project office. The Complete Streets Transportation Engineer will also mentor and identify training needs of each team member ensuring that they obtain the necessary training for career development and the success of the project. Safety is a main focus at WSDOT and an important function for a Transportation Engineer 3. The successful candidate must understand the importance of safety with people, vehicles, and equipment both in design and construction projects.
