Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a dedicated?Communications Consultant 5?(CC5) to?identify, develop, and implement strategic communications and government relations for all Connecting Washington projects and high-profile/high impact projects and programs in Southwest Region (SWR). The incumbent will determine appropriate communications methods and techniques for accomplishment, while evaluating effectiveness of these activities and recommending changes as needed. The CC5 will be essential to delivering innovative, effective, and culturally relevant services to help the agency achieve its strategic goals of workforce development, resilience, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. This position supports regional social justice and inclusion initiatives to help WSDOT create a workforce that represents the communities the agency serves.
