Job Opportunity: Capital Systems Development Manager!

Washington State Department of Transportation’s (WSDOT)?is currently seeking an IT specialist in Project Management and Reporting Systems (PMRS) to fill the Capital Systems Development Manager vacancy located in Olympia, WA. This position is responsible for the Capital Systems software suite, including Oracle's Primavera (P6) Scheduler, Primavera Unifier, Primavera Contract Manager, Whatfix, Enterprise Content Management (ECM), and Project Reporting & Information (PRI). This position is a Liaison between HQ's Capital Program Development and Management (CPDM) Division, Project Development Division, the Construction Office, and the IT Business Analysts that support regional engineering offices and field staff as WSDOT utilizes additional electronic platforms and for the advancement of Project Management, Program Management, and the sustainability of the Capital Systems across the state. The Capital Systems Development Manager will provide direct IT support for statewide project delivery and reporting, serving a dual role in analyzing business processes and developing software products based on the business needs identified. This includes overseeing the development and delivery of structured and ad-hoc training to staff in headquarters divisions, project offices, subject matter experts, design engineers, construction engineers, and contractors. While serving as an enterprise-wide expert, the position is headquarters-based and scope of services is agency-wide as potential impacts of work affect all users of the tools as well as the statewide, PMRS strategic roadmap. This position also may serve in a leadership role for projects that enhance and modernize the departments program and project management systems used to deliver the department's capital programs such as the Capital System Replacement Project ore-Construction Phase II.
