Washington State Department of Transportation’s (WSDOT) Public Transportation Division (PTD) is currently seeking two Transportation Planning Specialists with exceptional attention to detail and a diverse skill set and knowledge in planning, fiscal activities, and contracts. These positions will support the PTD in advancing public transportation and transportation demand management with partners for a safer, more equitable Washington. In these roles, you will perform professional transportation and financial planning assignments such as analyzing policies for financial site visits, updating grants guidebooks, conducting, and analyzing survey results, analyzing policies and eligibility requirements for grant programs, and reviewing financial data. These positions will also perform fiscal-related activities across the PTD, with a focus on capital and operating projects. The successful candidates will lead contracting activities related to the preparation, amendments review, terminations, and close out of all capital equipment, and operating standard agreement templates (boilerplates) within the PTD.
