Job Title - Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Projects - Civil Engineering, Concrete Works, RC Frame, Drainage, Utilities, Bridges, Footpaths, Fit outs, Infrastructure
Company:
A medium sized engineering contractor who specialise in concrete works and frames.
The candidate
Experience working for a civil engineering contractor
Project experience working on concrete work and frame project experience (ideal but not essential)
Relevant degree in Commercial Management / Quantity Surveying/Engineering Discipline or something equivalent
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to work under pressure
Demonstrable experience of working within a multi-disciplinary environment
Ability to work to tight deadlines

Duties (to assist in the following)
The procurement of materials, plant and labour
Assisting with applications of payment
Assist a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the management of subcontractors / labour
Measuring and pricing variations
Completing monthly cost reporting
Getting involved with client liaison and meetings
Salary and package
￡23,000 - ￡35,000 depending on experience
Car allowance depending on experience and level
