Job Opportunity: Assistant Project Support Engineer
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking a talented and innovative engineer to fill an Assistant Project Support Engineer (TE2) vacancy located in the Mount Baker Area Headquarters Office in Burlington. In this role, you will prepare, assist and/or review design and construction documents to ensure compliance with WSDOT standards, polices and legal requirements which could include assisting with the review of Design Documentation Packages, Basis of Design, ADA review, Maximum Extent Feasible,
Channelization Plans, and Construction Documentation reviews. The successful candidate will be responsible for the communicating the status of documentation reviews of design, inspection, and contract administration with the Project Engineer's Offices (PEO) and internal stakeholders. The Assistant Project Support Engineer also reviews and comments on external (developer, city, county, tribal) proposals for compliance with standards on state routes.
