• Thanks to Ed Stelmach for the introduction to Jeannette Andrashewski and Cheryl Westman who are looking for a farm/ranch employee. It's a mixed farming operation near Vermilion, Alberta, with?around 3300 acres and have around 500 cows. If?someone had a mechanical background that would be an asset or they had their tickets to be one (they would hire them as well, even if it was back in Ukraine). Accomodation will be provided, assistance with transportation as well at the beggining, potential benefits. It's a full time employment, starting wage from $30 per hour, training will be provided but experience working with cows might be an asset. Family values are important to them, and they are very much open to hire/relocate a family there (they have all the infrastracture nearby with schools, grocaries, etc). Candidate would need to run equipment, ideally (not mandatory) some experience with cows and class 1 drivers license. Basic english is needed. The Defence Attache Office is looking for an opportunity to present this Order of Courage to Kyle’s family at?the Remembrance Day Ceremony,?on May 8, 2024. On May 8, at 1030 am?the Embassy of Ukraine in collaboration with UCC and Beechwood National Cemetery is holding the Remembrance Day Ceremony.
