• Mike Andrews from The Synthetic Turf Co is looking to hire landscapers. They would need to have a vehicle but don't necessarily need any landscaping experience as they have positions available for both experienced and inexperienced. • Karen Rutherford and Alberta Roofing Contractors Association (ARCA) is running a Pilot program to assist Ukrainians to understand quickly all the English they need to be safe and effective on a construction site, as well as securing employment during/after this program. Class starts on May 1 ending May 7th (free). The classes are 4 hours ?from 4-8? Wed. Thurs Fri. All day Saturday and all Day Sunday. Then Monday and Tuesday back to 4 hour classes 4-8 PM. For the half day classes they will provide dinner to the participants. In the world of language training there is a format that is extremely effective.?ARCA is bringing in a world renowned trainer from Sweden to deliver the first program and then we intend to have it available at ARCA for the coming years. • We are thrilled to share the success of our recent job fair event hosted by UCC-APC on Wednesday, April 10th. Thanks to all who joined. The event brought together 23 employers and 10 agencies, along with more than 1200 eager job seekers and a dedicated team of 50 volunteers.?

• Make sure to save the date for the session from Tyler Shandro and Richard Harrison about Top Strategies to Retain Employees during Business Transition. They will be joined by John Bereznicki's who?will talk about successful M&A strategies and capital raise options (equity and financing). It's at 5pm on May 16th at the Ranchmen's Club.?
