Cornerstone is looking for candidates who are passionate about serving victims of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking. Since 1985, the organization have expanded from?Hotel/Motel safe housing program to implementing?many more?innovative services that were firsts in the state for victims and their children during the 1990s.?Cornerstone?opened?a 35-bed Emergency Shelter and?its community-based services at Sheila Wellstone Center in 2004, and acquired?Day One? in response to strong community needs by introducing a 24-hour crisis hotline which provides a statewide referral system to people seeking help from violence in 2005. Cornerstone recognizes the intersections between domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking by continuing to expand its mission and?broaden the population it serves.
