Life Science (LS) Team Manager in Korea
A. Objective of this position
? Promote Life Science offerings corporate prodcts to the Korean market and develop sales opportunities to close.
? The primary role is managing the entire offerings & portfolio in Korea from strategic business perspective based on business opportunities in the market.
? The key focused roles put under the leadership, Life Sciences & Pharmaceutical Market are as followings:
B. Duties of this position
? Building go-to-market strategies in LS Solutions and Pharma sales :
? The Life Science business handles several products and services including Competitive intelligence, Regulatory intelligence, Clinical trial intelligence and its related services.
? In the annual process to create a new business plan for the next year, leading to prepare an annual plan including LS product & marketing strategies and its financials working with direct reports.
? Products and Offering management:
? Communicating with Global Life Science teams and taking into account of Global strategies and local market environments, prepare and execute product game plans including launching, configurations and the pricing. This may also include local requirements discussions with Global product teams for future products.
? High performance team management:
? Develop high performance team for the success of Korea Life Science business.
? Collaborating with internal stakeholders (marketing, other sales team, consulting team, regional team, global team), drive distribution strategies for direct sales account managers.
? Profits/Losses responsibility:
? By price management for each product and offering, responsible for Profits / Losses of Life Science business in Korea.
? Conduct sales operation such as lead generation, pipeline management, forecasting
? Develop strong relationship with customers
? to ensure corporate products position as trusted advisor in the market

? Life Science global intelligence information (market, competitors, drug pipeline, clinical, regulatory, license-in/out deal information, generic API data)
? System biology tools,
? Life Science consulting service such as asset valuation, competitor landscape, new drug strategy, license-in/out strategy
E. Key Responsibilities and Duties
? Build short and long term strategies of the product and services offering and execute them collaborating with sales teams. Transform the operations in terms of operational excellence, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
? Set, monitor, and achieve the key metrics of the operations including quality and customer satisfaction, cost and productivity
? Closely collaborate with the global product teams to build product go-to-market game plans and to discuss future product needs
? Be responsible for P&L of LS business in Korea.
F. Qualifications
? People management capabilities to build a strong team which is culturally integrated and motivated
? Good understanding of life science (MS degree or above on Life science is preferred)
? Strong working experience in Life Science industry. (over total 10+ years of experience in LS industry, AND 5 year+ sales experience).
? Strong capability in communicating in English
? With integrity, passion and good collaboration with internal/external stakeholders.
? Good communication, customer relationship management and presentation skill required.
