Job Summary:

The Junior Accountant will assist in managing the day-to-day accounting and financial operations. This role involves working closely with the senior accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions.
• Perform reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and accruals.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, summaries, and statements for management review.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.
• Assist with audits, both internal and external, providing necessary documentation and support.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and consistent financial information.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of relevant tax laws and regulations is a plus.
