The resilient American job market continues its journey towards a full recovery. As the economy gains more jobs, we step closer to pre-pandemic workforce levels. January brought good news for job gains by surpassing economists’ predictions. The Rose International Team understands organizations’ needs to find talented individuals and is committed to matching job seekers with opportunities that align with their goals and skills.

A Shifting Job Market

There’s a big difference in the state of the current job market compared to January 2021 and January 2020. The workforce continues to adjust through remote or hybrid work. In January 2022, remote work increased from 11.1% to 15.4% . With opportunities in a variety of fields and regions across the United States, the Rose International Team helps candidates find jobs that support their career goals while also utilizing their skillsets.

Continuing to RISE

The workforce recovery continues, as does the work to build an equitable workforce where all individuals can succeed. Dedication to advancing racial equity in the United States is needed from organizations of all sizes to create progress. Rose International’s RISE (Rose Impacting Social Equality) initiative launched on February 1, 2021, with a $2 million commitment. In the year since announcing this commitment, 100% of Rose International’s internal team completed managing bias training, 65 Rose employees enrolled in career development training and the commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion is now present on all internal Rose International job openings. RISE further initiated change by mentoring a small minority business enterprise (MBE) and sponsoring its certification with the National Minority Supplier Development Council . Rose International remained a committed, national Inner City Capital Connections sponsor and nominated three cohorts for its executive leadership training. Through RISE, Rose International sponsored a virtual career fair for 60 diverse students and awarded $20,000 in scholarships to 10 Morgan State University students. One year in and many more to go, the Rose International Team is proud of the progress made and eager to impact more lives through RISE.
