Job Description: Studio Manager, LA

Chase Design Group is currently seeking an on-site Studio Manager for our Pasadena studio. The Studio Manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining general studio operations and office tidiness. Our ideal candidate would be enthusiastic and personable, as they will often be the first point of contact for employees, clients, and visitors. Organization, punctuality, attention to detail and proactivity are musts. This role is required to be in-office 4 days per week.

Studio Responsibilities:

  • Daily routines such as opening and closing the studio
  • Greet visitors and accept deliveries
  • On-site meeting set-up – coordinate food, drinks, supplies needed for meetings with clients, vendors, and creative resources
  • Coordinate and work with building management, repairmen, vendors, etc.
  • Order supplies for the office (including snacks, creative supplies, production/ printing supplies, tech supplies, etc.) ensuring that the office is always stocked
  • Handle shipping – create labels, prepare packages, and schedule pick-ups/ dropping off packages at FedEx, coordinating couriers, etc.
  • Maintain overall office and kitchen area cleanliness as well as leading office reorganization efforts

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Manage supplier account info
  • Organize and book travel as needed
  • Oversee and update company calendars (PTO, events, meetings, etc.)
  • Assist People Operations Manager with various tasks including team events, celebrations, recruiting efforts, and other duties as assigned
  • ·?????? Coordinate with IT on various tasks such as setting up new office equipment, etc.
  • Maintain Studio/Margo Chase Filemaker Pro Archive of Projects and Samples
  • Other administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience as an Office Admin
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: tactful and effective interpersonal interactions
  • Detail-oriented and a strong affinity for organization
  • Strong familiarity with G-Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bonus points for Adobe Creative Suite experience
  • An appreciation for all things creative

Base Salary Range: 50k – 65k
