Redacted 1/9/17, 01:53 PM. Due to professional concerns, and an “ALL CAPS” email from my best friend, who actually is a gun person, that effectively said it’s too risky, and will be taken out of context, and I’ll never find a job again, but since I own my own startup now, it should b safe. I also am a volunteer on a Suicide and crisis hotline since February of 2020, so I am well aware of gun deaths and statistics, I HAV NEVER SHOWN ANY VIOLENT TENDENCIES OF ANY KIND MY ENTIRER LIFE, if you don’t believe me, I grant permission for the FBI or any government or healthcare agency to do an extensive background check on me. I have never owned operated, or ever considered firearm use for myself. And politically I’m a conservative, but I live in a blue city and blue state, and benefit significantly from liberal minority protections. ???If you hate on my business due to any of my views, or act in any hate crime discriminatory fashions, expect me to claim multiple minority status, and shame or sue you into oblivion, if any other companies find this content and who I am objectionable, that is your problem, and I will leave your service, platform, or goods you produce loudly, claiming minority discrimination and censorship. If you want my business, you will respect the whole individual, and not just what you want to see. If anyone attempts to cancel me, then I’ll just take my business and connections elsewhere, and I’ll be loud, authentic, and honest about it. ?????

So I been thinking about it like this for a month or so, dithering weather or not I should post this on my linkedin, I have not, mainly since any reference around violence in the work place, or analogizing as such, in any way, gets flagged and can “destroy" a career.

To be clear, trigger warning: This is NOT about violence, Period. Any analogies are used for conceptual and intellectual analysis of what it's like to be in the job market, as well as the common expectations around such. If this is taken out of context, or plagiarized, understand that you are,Dead...... Meat and I'll defend my 1st amendment right with my 2nd amendment toting friends or just locked & loaded logic and clear organized documentation.

Ok, with that out of the way...

What's the deal with airline food?

I do not, and have never owned any guns, nor am I a gun person, I don't even like most FPS games, my knowledge of such are from?reading, and from friends in and around others in the military.

It seems when it comes to hunting for a job, your expected to:

  1. Have some sort of unique?transforming gun with magic bullets.
  2. Have a better gun than all the other hunters, (not just better in one way, but every way possible): precision, range, rate of fire, reload time, clip size, area of effect, weight, etc. etc. etc. and better bullets.....
  3. Have spies or recruiters behind enemy lines, to pass you info, to just get the job to stop and notice you.
  4. Have a custom bullet for each target.
  5. Have a professional stance at all times, across all platforms, regardless of how close you are to the target job.
  6. Be completely clean of all dirt, regardless of how long your career and life has been.
  7. Know exactly where the pressure points are for the job, and industry at that particular time of day.
  8. Know where local jobs like to congregate.
  9. Know where you likely stack up against all the other hunters, no longer just in your area, but sometimes around the world.
  10. Able to get and settle with how much meat the job is able to provide you.
  11. Have a silencer, encase you already have a job, and don't want to spook it, if your trying to trade up or sideways.
  12. Be able to keep the job with you as long as possible, and learn as much as you can from it, regardless of how unreasonable the job is, or how bad the fit may be for you at that time.

Now, If you fail to get any solid results within a subjective reasonable period of time, you are seen to be doing something wrong somewhere, and the job, does not have to indicate in any way, how close you got, how well your doing, what your doing wrong, what the other successful or unsuccessful hunters did, what it took to take a similar job down, or sometimes even the certainty that the job title means the same or similar thing anywhere else.

?

Does that sound like a realistic set of tasks and expectations for everyone, regardless of their specific background, age, location, maturity, goals, needs, and limitations?..
