DERVOS AMERICA is actively recruiting a Technical Sales Representative hybrid position in Houston / Odessa-Midland, Tx. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience supporting fluid management products in the Oil/Gas/Chemical industry in related companies. The position is a salary position with potential for additional performance-based compensation, including commission.

The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for new customer acquisition, lead generation, qualifying and prospect management, as this role will garner and meet with potential customers to build rapport and develop long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities and Activities:

· Prospects for and identifying new customers and new product opportunities for company products.

· Provides a technical interface between customer and company engineering, manufacturing, and management regarding specifications, drawing interpretations, production schedules, quality control demands, etc.

· Supports and develops potential technical specifications, pricing considerations, and contract requirements.

· Develop strategies for quoting opportunities.

· Visit sites as needed for quoting and job execution.

· Develop professional relationships with customers including purchase, plant and facility management.

· Work with Supply Chain to support overall scope of supply.

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar field (desirable).
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in technical sales involving industrial valves or fluid management equipment, specifically in the Oil/Gas/Chemical industry.
• Knowledge of sales processes in business-to-business industry

· Strong networking skills and experience in building industry connections.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Legally authorized to work in the US.

· Knowledge of valve construction standards such as API 600, API 623, API 592 and API 6D

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
