Have you anytime wondered that why you didn't receive a call or a mail in response to your job application though your profile suits their requirement technically?
There are few things mainly to concentrate on, while applying to a particular job post.
- Clearly mention your years of experience and technical skills in your resume -particular technologies, tools or the modules (like keywords- without spelling mistakes).
- Mention all the projects(in-detail) you have worked on a particular skill set.
- Write your primary communication details ( mobile number & mail ID) in your resume. Being a recruiter, I have come across many resumes where in, people write everything except their mobile number and mail ID. Though you send an email from your ID, resume must have these two details.
- Furnish all the details asked for, in the job post in your response mail.
- Check for the format of your resume attachment. Because, if you send it in a different format or share it through different location such as drive, recruiters might not have that particular software to open such attachments or drive access might be denied. It is always a good practice to share your resume in Microsoft-word format or in PDF as an attachment in response mail.
