Role & responsibilities

Position Overview: You will be a part of maintenance team and lead a team of junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional departments, and work closely with vendors to ensure the successful execution of projects aimed at improving efficiency, productivity, and quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Above role would cover the below:

• Manage overall maintenance activities of module plant (mainly automation conveyors, stringers, tabbing, EL, laminators, flashers, etc) along with utilities including CDA, HVAC, Exhaust, etc.
• Take-up whole-sole responsibility for installation and commissioning of module production line in a safe manner with tight deadlines and start the operations on time.
• Must have experience in SAP maintenance module
• Experience in Preparation of maintenance related safety documents, including HIRA, JSA, PTW, etc.
• Experience in Preparation of ISO documentation departmental manual, SOP’s, WI, Check sheets, troubleshooting manual & training plan
• Experience in maintenance Manpower planning, hiring & training
• Experience in Spare parts & Inventory management
• Experience in Preventive/Scheduled/Predictive along with troubleshooting Un-scheduled breakdowns
• He/she must ideally target to achieve maximum equipment availability and to reduce production downtime
• He/she will also monitor expenses and control the overall budget for service and maintenance. He will also closely work with several vendors on indigenization of spares. He/she will also have experience in forecasting, ordering, and price negotiation for machines spares and consumables.
• Ensuring that all plant maintenance activities are executed in a safe manner complying company policy and guidelines.
• Maintenance records to be maintained in SAP-PM for analysis and RCA/CAPA reports
• To follow a structured approach in measuring and improving maintenance KPIs, MTTR, MTBF, machine uptime, overall availability & on-time execution of preventive maintenance
• To come up with detailed failure analysis reports for major unscheduled breakdowns and prepare on-time RCA/CAPA.

§? PLC Programming (Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Omron) Drives (Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Yaskawa, Delta), VFD (Mitsubishi, Schindler electric, Delta, Yaskawa, Allen Bradley) HMI (Siemens, Proface, Delta, Keyence), SCADA (RS view 32) and managing? program backup, application software, etc.

• Experience in handling 6 axis Robotics system (ABB IRB4600, IRB6640) as well as Scara robot like Epson, Denso, and Adept, etc

§? Hand on experience in AC & DC drives, servomotors, HMI, Compressor, Automatic conveyor system, Vacuum pumps, etc.

Experience: 5-15 years in Solar Module Maintenance

Desirable : B.E/B.Tech (Electrical, Electronics, I&C, Mechanical, Production) or Diploma with excellent knowledge and proven experience in Solar module maintenance.
