Their client list includes private developers, local authorities as well as government departments who all benefit from a wide range of services including, but not limited to, road rehabilitation/ resealing, township infrastructure, asphalt works, general civil engineering, pipelines, bulk earthworks, new (major and minor) roads, minor concrete structures, electrical substation civil works as well as plant hire.

They are looking to expand their team with a Site Agent/Construction Manager with the following minimum requirements:

* Built Environment, post matric further education.

* +/- 15 years industry experience (civil construction).

* Experience on roadworks as well as services.

* +/- 5 years in Site Agent/Construction manager position.

* Willing to relocation to Garden Route area and work across South Africa if necessary.

Job description / core competencies:

Responsible for the management of construction sites.

Ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously.

Ability to motivate people and strong leadership skills will be a requirement.

The person will be based in Mossel Bay/George, but it can be expected of the successful candidate to work across South Africa if necessary.

Location: Garden Route, Western Cape

Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

An after-school qualification in civil engineering is highly recommended.

Experienced in GCC, SANS 1200 and COLTO specifications.

A minimum of 15 years of civil construction experience of which at least 5 years had to be in a Site Agent capacity.

Professional registration as a Construction Manager with SACPCMP is not a requirement but will be to the applicant’s benefit.
