Company: Robert Half is pleased to represent our esteemed International Manufacturing Client, based in Birmingham. With a global presence and a commitment to excellence, our client is seeking a talented Commercial Financial Controller to join their dynamic team.

Role Overview: As the Commercial Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in business partnering with the EMEA and Americas Sales Directors. This 12-month FTC position, likely to extend, requires immediate availability or a prompt start date, with a preference for a thorough handover with the current incumbent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a strategic plan for establishing a comprehensive and independent view of EMEA and Americas sales.
• Lead the annual budget preparation and analysis, along with quarterly reforecast processes, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and timely delivery to the Transport senior team.

• Produce accurate annual budgets and quarterly forecasts to achieve business objectives.
• Take ownership of financial numbers and present them at a regional level, demonstrating a keen understanding of market conditions to flexibly adjust the Business Plan in response to changing dynamics for enhanced forecasting accuracy.

• Provide all financial reporting and audit requirements pertinent to the UK & Ireland Sales Companies, ensuring adherence to statutory reporting deadlines.
• Submit monthly financial accounts and associated analysis accurately and punctually
• Oversee the provision of information pertaining to the Americas and EMEA Companies for the preparation of annual year-end accounts in accordance with Group requirements.
• Manage the EMEA and Americas Sales component of the annual external audit process.

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Extensive experience within the manufacturing sector.
• Proven ability to drive strategic planning initiatives and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with the capability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
• French, Spanish or German Language skills desirable but not essential
