The JK Educate Team – Focus on our Matching Team

The JK Educate team members are committed to providing a high-quality service and delivering results.

The Matching Team performs the vital work of successfully matching a child to a tutor; we consider this to be the single most important part of the tutoring process. There needs to be the right chemistry, a relationship needs to be built, and of course, the needs of the student have to be met.

Because each student is very individual, we take care to ensure that our process is bespoke for each client. We get to know our clients and tutors in-depth, take our time with the matching process and make sure that everyone’s needs are taken into consideration.

The members of the matching team are:

 ·        Lorrae Jaderberg – Joint Founder and Managing Director

·        Sasha Martone – Executive Assistant

·        Sarah Perkins – UK and International Operations Administer

Once a client makes contact with us, Sasha takes all of the details and liaises with Lorrae, creating a brief which is confirmed with the client.

Lorrae and Sasha will then review the brief and determine which tutor will be most suitable. Lorrae personally recruits all the tutors so is fully familiar with them. In addition, all the tutors are trained and assessed by the Monitoring Team. The tutors are matched with the child on the basis of their suitability for that particular client, how they work and their availability.

The tutor’s CV is sent to the client, and if the client is happy then a paid trial lesson is arranged. Before the lesson goes ahead, the Monitoring Team will discuss the brief with the tutor and go through their lesson plan, which has to be approved.

After the trial lesson, both the client and the tutor give their feedback, and if everyone is happy then regular tutoring sessions will be scheduled.

Progress and the success of the matching is checked through regular monitoring of monthly targets.

We firmly believe that this thorough process of matching and monitoring produces an effective, positive learning experience for the student, which is evidenced time and time again by their successful outcomes.
