J.J. Corry Irish Whiskey Wins Prestigious Brand Battle Award at WSWA in Orlando
Company to Launch their first Irish Whiskey into the U.S.A. in September
Cooraclare, County Clare Friday April 28th: The Chapel Gate Irish Whiskey Co. has won one of two prestigious 'Brand Battle' awards at the 74th annual Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America Convention & Exposition (WSWA) in Grande Lakes, Orlando, Florida. Founder, Louise Mc Guane was chosen from over 70 entrants through a competitive pitch to present her J.J. Corry Irish Whiskey in the annual 'Brand Battle'.
Billed as the most exciting live presentation to hit the drinks industry in years “Brand Battle” allows seven brands to pitch their compelling story, business, and marketing plan to a panel of judges made up of wholesaler decision makers along with special judge, TV personality, restaurateur and winner of “The Apprentice,” Bill Rancic.
"Louise Mc Guane commented "This was a huge opportunity for us, our focus launch market is the U.S.A. To have the opportunity to tell our story directly to some of the industry’s most influential players and garner this level of exposure is invaluable. Our story and product landed really well and we are going home to Clare with a trophy, but most importantly we have had some serious interest from distributors in the U.S.A. We are now well on track to launch J.J. Corry Whiskey in the U.S.A. by September 2017."
Feedback from the judging panel was positive with Bill Rancic commenting " Of all the brands we've seen here today you have by far and above the best story I have heard up here. I think you are onto something”
JJ Corry Irish Whiskey was also featured prominently throughout the conference on WSWA TV and social media, enhancing further the brand awareness and exposure.
