Joyous mid-week to you!
Reminders when life/things/people feel overwhelming to you.
Don’t worry; consider moving your body even just a tiny bit, as your brain will follow, creating new ideas, new openings and fire your imagination.
It’s the little things that can matter and make such a huge difference to us all, such as connecting with strangers, places, etc. Say you just began chatting with the checkout gal, who is wearing something like what you are wearing or have at home; it leads you into a fascinating conversation and you find out you’re third-removed cousins. It's just that doorway to being willing to strike up an opening sentence with someone new in your life.
*I complained to a cousin that I have no relatives near me, and he sent me information about a cousin who lives 18 minutes away with his wife and amazing young daughter. I now have cousins to visit...it’s a miracle created by a small opening. Who knew?...
It's the essentials that count the most. How are you spending your time? There are days when I feel nothing gets done—even though I’ve just finished two loads of laundry, fed the dog and walked her, and eaten and cleaned up after a healthy breakfast.

But then I am “lost” on my email messages…where the important ones seem to have been planted many moons ago, and I must hunt for them. Obviously, “unsubscribe” doesn’t always work.
Baby steps, baby steps, baby steps. Although I want to BE THERE right now (like my ex-husband who would ask me, “Are you there, yet?”) I am not there… yet. When we take small steps—mainly because it’s impossible to have it all done right now, as much as we believe we’d like that—we can enjoy the journey along the way. Because that’s what life is all about, the journey. Destinations are great, and yet we are here to learn to navigate so our lives feel easy and authentic, and really, that’s where the cool experiential moments exist.
Remember, rushing won’t help. Impatience won’t do it. Wishing you were somewhere/someone else won’t cut it. The key is to be patient, to accept where you are, and to trust the journey.
Little things, essentials and baby steps.
So, relax. Let life flow through you. Notice and accept life’s adventures. Breathe deeply. These are the things that will help you on your journey. And remember, you're not alone. Blessings surround you on your continuing journey! Guidance is everywhere you look. Just open your eyes to life's goodness. Awaken to it all.

7 个月Hi soul sister. I realy believe in going to the Super and chattingup/flirting with the checkout girl or anyone. At 76 years old there are no sexual implications infact if I went with a woman full of beans I would remain like a dry shrived leaf in fall. I am sure we are loosing our tribe. You can get everything delivered untill you get to: I'm lonely, nobody loves me, everybody avoids me. You say hallo to people. "Do I know you"? Try to say hallo to a two or four legged being. See and wallow in their reaction. Energy going back and forth! Me thinks life is for the living! www.amazon.com/author/johnjamesmoore Angels in the Cage Angels allover rihab girl Angels
